What is a STF file (a file with file extension STF)?
Files that contain the .stf file extension are most commonly associated with older versions of a variety of Microsoft applications. These files contain ACME setup table files that are used by the associated software applications. The STF files that are associated with these Microsoft applications are stored in a plain-text file format.
The .stf file extension is also used by the ShrinkToFit archiving application. These STF files contain the archive files that have been created with the software.
The ISaGRAF program also uses the .stf file suffix for the organization unit files that are created with the application.
The .stf file extension has also been associated with the Microsoft Exchange Server for the temporary files that are created by the server.
