What is a P file (a file with file extension P)?

Files that contain the .p file extension are most commonly associated with the Pascal programming language. The Pascal language was developed in 1970 for structured programming purposes. The source code files that are written in this language are saved with the .p file extension.

The .p file extension is also used by the Applause software application. These P files contain picture files that have been created with the software.

The PDB software also uses the .p file suffix for the chemical modeler output files that are created with the program.

The AKAI software uses the .p file suffix for the application's program files.

The Cliq software program uses the .p file extension for the accessories datebook permission files that are referenced by the application.

The MATLAB application uses the .p file suffix for the binary-runtime files that are referenced by the program.
