What is a FS file (a file with file extension FS)?

Files that contain the .fs file extension are most commonly used with the Visual F# software created by Microsoft. F# is a programming language that is used for the .NET framework.

The source code files that are created with this programming language are usually saved with the .fs file extension. These files can then be compiled into executable computer applications.

The .fs file extension is also used by the Usenix FaceServer software. These FS files contain bitmap files that are created by the program.

The FlexiSIGN software application also uses the .fs file suffix for the document files that the software creates.
