What is a DRW file (a file with file extension DRW)?
Files that contain the .drw file extension are used by a variety of software applications to store drawing files that have been created with the programs. The DRW files often contain vector image data that creates the associated image file.
Popular software applications that use the DRW file format for vector drawings include Paint Shop Pro, MacDraw, CorelDRAW, Acorn and Lotus Freelance.
One of the programs that most commonly uses the .drw file suffix is the Micrografx vector image program. The Micrografx software was purchased by Corel and is now distributed by the organization. The software has been renamed, however, to iGrafx instead of Micrografx.
