What is a DBC file (a file with file extension DBC)?
Files that contain the .dbc file extension are most commonly used by the Microsoft Visual FoxPro software application. Visual FoxPro is an object-oriented programming language that is commonly used to create desktop database applications. The DBC files contain database files that have been created by the Visual FoxPro program.
The .dbc file extension is also used by the OrCAD software. These DBC files contain capture CIS database configuration files that are used by the software.
The CANdb software application also uses the .dbc file suffix. These DBC files contain network files.
The PROGNOSIS software also uses the .dbc file suffix. These DBC files contain database collection document files.
