What is a ARTASK file (a file with file extension ARTASK)?
Files that contain the .artask file extension are used by the AR System Task IT help software. Users of this software can create forms to manage a variety of IT tasks, such as tracking incoming calls to the help desk or recording the equipment that each network user has equipped on a system.
When a user saves a shortcut of an AR System Task form to their desktop, the form is saved with the .artask file extension. The ARTASK files have the sole purpose of launching an ARUSER.exe application via the OLE automation task. This makes it easier for users to access the AR System tools.
